1. About these terms

Welcome to Yanscape (“Yanscape,” “we,” “us,” “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website at https://www.yanscape.com and any related services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What Yanscape is

Yanscape is an independent price-comparison and discovery service for beauty advent calendars and beauty edits. We aggregate publicly available product information from third-party retailers and present it for comparison. Yanscape does not sell, manufacture, ship, or fulfil any products listed on the Service.All purchases are completed on the retailer's own website under the retailer's terms.

3. Eligibility and account

The Service is intended for users aged 16 or older. Some features (wishlists, ratings, comments) require an account. You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Pricing, availability, and accuracy

Prices, stock status, product contents, retailer-claimed values, and other listing details are sourced from third-party retailers and refreshed on a periodic schedule. They may be out of date or inaccurate at any given moment. Always confirm price, availability, contents, and shipping terms on the retailer's own website before purchasing.

Yanscape makes reasonable efforts to keep listings accurate but provides the Service on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

5. Affiliate links and commission

Some outbound links on the Service are affiliate links. If you click an affiliate link and complete a qualifying purchase on the destination retailer's site, Yanscape may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence which products we list, what data we display, or how we rank listings. See our affiliate disclosure for full details.

6. User-submitted content

When you submit content to the Service (such as ratings, comments, wishlists, or feedback), you represent that you own or have the necessary rights to that content and that it does not violate any law or third-party rights. You grant Yanscape a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and process your submitted content for the purpose of operating the Service.

You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, fraudulent, infringing, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable. We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these Terms, in our sole discretion.

7. Intellectual property

The Yanscape name, logo, design, code, copy, and aggregated data presentation are the property of the operator and are protected by intellectual property laws. Brand names, product images, retailer trademarks, and similar third-party content displayed on the Service belong to their respective owners and are used here under fair use / nominative use principles for the purpose of identification and comparison. 8. Acceptable use

You agree not to: scrape or systematically extract data from the Service except as expressly permitted; reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to obtain source code; use the Service to build a competing product; introduce malware, spam, or automated abuse; circumvent any access control or rate limit; or use the Service in a way that violates applicable law.

9. Third-party retailers

Yanscape links out to third-party retailer websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, terms, prices, products, services, fulfilment, or customer support of third-party retailers. Any dispute arising from a purchase made on a retailer's site is between you and that retailer.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yanscape and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Yanscape's aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service shall not exceed £100 GBP or the amount you have paid Yanscape in the past twelve months (whichever is greater) — note that the Service is free to use, so this is typically £100.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service (with or without notice) for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law) will survive.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be noted on the Service. Your continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing law and venue
